EZ-Connector-Plug

Fun thing about a new truck is adding all the accessories. Of course since I tow trailers, my first accessory was converting the 7 RV plug that came with the truck to an EZ-Connector magnetic plug. I have EZ-Connectors on all my trailers because they always work. Sealed cord, Rare-Earth Neodymium magnet holding the plug for a tight water proof connection. Life time warranty, made in the US, all the right stuff.

I live in Colorado, in the winter the state DOT replaced salt with Magnesium Chloride. Like replacing orange juice with battery acid. MC corrodes everything from your trucks wiring to the frame. Picture left, is the factory plug on my Ford F250, picture right is the new EZ-Connector. EZ-Connector keeps your trailer cord connection protected and sealed. I don’t work on my trailer wires anymore.

Installation of the EZ-Connector No-Drill Mounting Clips was so easy and fast. Just unbolt the factory tin bracket with the 7 RV plug. Push the top and bottom of the spring clips on the factory plug. Pull the factory plug out of it’s hole and disconnect the factory wire harness by pushing in the plastic pins and pull the plug out.

Next insert the 4 pin boat plug hole cover with threaded holes to the inside of the bracket. Then insert the clip with the other 2 threaded holes on the other side of the factory bracket. Now you have the threaded holes to run the screws through the front of your new EX Connector female side. Plug in the wiring harness, bolt the bracket back to the factory receiver hitch and go find your trailer. It looks like a factory plug now but with a real weather cover and the best plug on the market.

Water-block powder in cable prevents phantom corrosion due to nicks in cable jacket allowing water in the cable.

Available with up to 14 contacts, they are easy to see if oxidized and easy to clean if necessary.

Magnet and plug are totally sealed water-tight if dropped in water, to prevent phantom corrosion.

Double O-ring seals keeps plug watertight when in use or stored.

EZS7 Self-Closing trailer plug holder. The trailer plug holder is meant to be mounted on the trailer to store the plug when not in use. It’s attractive self-closing cover keeps debris and rain out while traveling.

Plug is securely held up while stored minimizing the chance of dragging. Being watertight while stored, it protects the plug from salt air keeping it corrosion free and ready to go.
